The Operational Engine Behind the Mission

Built on 20 Years of Market-Tested Sports Infrastructure

Roller Sports Club was founded by Brenda Holley to solve a critical market failure in youth and adult athletics: the lack of structural business systems and permanent physical infrastructure for alternative sports. Brenda spent the last two decades as the chief architect, operator, and business strategist behind South Side Roller Derby, transforming a grassroots passion into a disciplined, 20-year local institution.

Through that journey, she engineered a scalable business blueprint. While most community sports clubs operate on temporary enthusiasm and fail due to poor administrative systems, Brenda built a rigorous backend machine—handling full-scale digital infrastructure, marketing systems, clear corporate policies, and proprietary athletic pipelines. Her training systems are designed with a clear meritocratic focus: taking an individual from holding the wall to an elite, world-class competitor through hard work, discipline, and structured progression.

Seeing the massive post-pandemic demand from youth and adult females wanting to learn timeless physical skills, Brenda established Roller Sports Club as a formal 501(c)(3) foundation. This organization institutionalizes her 20 years of operational expertise, offering a centralized business backbone to every club under its umbrella. Roller Sports Club operates with the efficiency of a private enterprise and the mission of a community anchor. We are actively vetting strategic capital partners and visionary donors to invest in a permanent, multi-surface complex—securing a legacy of self-sustaining athletic excellence for generations to come.
